Ah, the season! Don’t you just love waiting all year for that one special day or that one special season it seems you just can’t live without? Yeah, I absolutely hate it too, but I guess what we don’t realize is that we should stop and think. Savor these moments and every moment in between. Let’s meditate on some seasonal patio furniture.
It seems like every season in life has a sale. No matter what time of year it is, there is always a sale going on for something. Not only that, but there are certain pieces of furniture and furniture brands that are seasonal. Hence, we call them seasonal patio furniture because they come out at certain times in the year.
Santa Brought You Something New
Let’s start with the Winter and Christmas season. I don’t know about you, but this is hands down my absolute favorite season. You get to feel the cold hand of Jack Frost on your cheeks. Snow gently covers the ground. You feel yourself falling in love with this season after the fresh smell of gingerbread baking in the oven gets you.
In this particular season, you will want cushion, cushion, cushion! I don’t know if you’ve heard, but seats get cold in the winter. You will want the seats to the chairs on your patio to be cushioned. You absolutely do not want to freeze your guests’ butts. It’s happened before. It ain’t pretty. Heed my warning.
All in All, Prices Will Fall
It’s Autumn! Yes, we just finished talking about Winter, but I’m going a little out of order. It’s not the apocalypse, Ya’ll. During the fall, prices will fall more than the leaves. It’s back to school season, and everyone is getting discount after discount on everything they buy.
Let’s face it. It’s a nice time to buy. In Autumn, it’s still a good choice to use cushions for your seats. However, you may be able to have a few chairs with no cushion. This is great because the weather isn’t that cold, and it isn’t too hot. So fall is a great time to be flexible with the furniture.
The Sting of Spring
Ah, Spring. Fresh flowers are in the air, birds are singing, and the sun is beaming. This is when it gets a little warmer outside. Now it’s time to be careful of the chairs on our patio burning our guests. Instead of using cushions, you could use towels.
At this point in the year, you want to get colorful. Your furniture will look best if it is matched with the colorful view of the outdoors. If your furniture colors matched the hue of the flowers, your home will look like a beautiful garden stealing all the attention.
Not a Bummer, It’s Summer!
Here is when it gets real with the heat. Don’t burn your guests with hot seats that have been sitting out in the sun all day getting a sweet little tan. You have got to make sure your seats are fully covered. You don’t have to cover up any design, just the parts that will burn people.
Also, in this season, the colors are vibrant. The heat is scorching. You are going to want to get a colorful or beach theme for your patio. You are also going to want to get an overhead shield to keep your patio from the blazing hot sun. This will keep you absolutely cool.
‘Tis the Season, and it’s Yours
There you have it. Your patio furniture just went through the four seasons. You are on your way to patio furniture expertise. You’ve got to love the seasons that life takes us through. Just make sure your patio is enjoying the phases of life just as much as you are.
I am a big fan of keeping my patio with the seasons. You’ve got to be in tune with the weather and the time of year that you are currently in. Your patio will look absolutely extravagant and super fresh if your patio works in correlation to the time of year. Happy seasoning!
